Our Story

Pure Balance began with a desire to create something that felt different and provide care that was more personalized.

In occupational therapy, we explore how physical abilities, environments, and emotions can influence our everyday lives.

Pure Balance grew from that perspective with the intention of helping people create greater balance.

My Path

A path shaped
by purpose.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people in the medical field—I just didn't know what that would look like.

That changed when I shadowed at a pediatric outpatient clinic and discovered occupational therapy. I loved the creativity of meeting a child where they were and finding meaningful ways to help them build skills for everyday life. More than anything, I connected with OT's focus on function.

That experience eventually led me to help co-create a preschool readiness program alongside an occupational therapist, before I was even an OT myself. As my role evolved into a Neurodevelopmental Teacher, so did my interest in creating programs around what people actually need.

Becoming an occupational therapist only strengthened that perspective. Working with children and adults taught me to look beyond what someone can't do and consider what may be getting in the way—and how we can make everyday life work better.

Later, virtual OT gave me another perspective: the opportunity to see people in their own environments. It pushed me to become even more intentional about how I structure care, involve families, and create practical strategies that carry into everyday routines.

That same desire to meet people where they are—and build something around what they truly need—is part of what continues to shape Pure Balance today.

♧ Function doesn't mean being the strongest or the fastest. Sometimes, it's simply having what you need to care for yourself, participate in your life, and be more independent.
One Philosophy

Two Paths.

Different forms of support.
